TNV Systems for Rugged High-Temperature Exhaust Air Purification
VEN CLEANAIR TNV systems are designed with the actual production environment in mind: Which exhaust air sources need to be connected? How do load fluctuations occur? Which safety functions, maintenance access points, and utility connections are critical during operation? Based on these parameters, a system configuration is developed that integrates the combustion chamber, airflow, burner technology, and control system into a resilient, integrated system.
- Connection of multiple exhaust air sources possible
- Combustion chamber and burner design tailored to the process load
- Maintenance, safety, and control concepts can be planned on a project-specific basis
Which VEN CLEANAIR TNV is right for your process?
The appropriate TNV model is not determined by the volume flow alone. Key factors include the exhaust air volume, VOC load, temperature requirements, safety concept, and integration into the facility. Depending on the model, typical TNV systems range from approximately 1,000 to 32,000 Nm³/h.
Volumenströme and System Capacity
The unit size depends on the volume of exhaust air to be treated. For smaller processes, compact TNV systems starting at approximately 1,000 Nm³/h are suitable; larger industrial systems can handle volumes of up to approximately 32,000 Nm³/h, depending on the model. The decisive factor is not only the peak value but also the load profile during operation.
Combustion Chamber Temperature and Residence Time
In thermal incineration processes, organic components are oxidized by high temperatures. Typical operating temperatures often range from about 750 to 850 °C, depending on the composition of the pollutants, purification requirements, and regulatory specifications. Residence time and mixing within the combustion chamber are key design considerations.
VOC Loading and Safety Margins
Fluctuating VOC concentrations, peak loads, or changing solvents can significantly affect the design of the TNV. Burner capacity, explosion protection, temperature monitoring, and control strategy must be designed to ensure that even dynamic operating conditions are safely managed.
Location, Service, and Peripherals
Piping layout, chimney connections, utility supply, maintenance areas, and accessibility often influence the plant design just as much as the process data. Especially in existing plants, the peripheral systems determine how easily a TNV can be installed, maintained, and operated over the long term.
