VEN CLEANAIR TNV by Venjakob

Industrial Thermal After-Combustion Systems

TNV Systems for Rugged High-Temperature Exhaust Air Purification

VEN CLEANAIR TNV systems are designed with the actual production environment in mind: Which exhaust air sources need to be connected? How do load fluctuations occur? Which safety functions, maintenance access points, and utility connections are critical during operation? Based on these parameters, a system configuration is developed that integrates the combustion chamber, airflow, burner technology, and control system into a resilient, integrated system.

  • Connection of multiple exhaust air sources possible
  • Combustion chamber and burner design tailored to the process load
  • Maintenance, safety, and control concepts can be planned on a project-specific basis

The Advantages of Thermal Afterburning Systems

In day-to-day production, TNV systems must do one thing above all else: operate reliably, safely, and in a traceable manner, even under demanding exhaust air conditions.

Designed for real-world process loads

The system is designed not only based on its rated capacity, but also on actual operating conditions, load changes, and operational safety requirements.

Safe and Controllable Plant Operation

Measuring points, control systems, and interlocks ensure that operating conditions remain transparent and that critical situations are detected early.

Service access planned from the very beginning

Maintenance areas, inspection openings, and accessible components are already factored into the layout—which is important for minimizing downtime and enabling predictable maintenance.

Integration into existing infrastructure

Utility connections, exhaust air ducting, the chimney, the control system, and installation requirements are designed so that the system fits seamlessly into the location.

Which VEN CLEANAIR TNV is right for your process?

The appropriate TNV model is not determined by the volume flow alone. Key factors include the exhaust air volume, VOC load, temperature requirements, safety concept, and integration into the facility. Depending on the model, typical TNV systems range from approximately 1,000 to 32,000 Nm³/h.

The unit size depends on the volume of exhaust air to be treated. For smaller processes, compact TNV systems starting at approximately 1,000 Nm³/h are suitable; larger industrial systems can handle volumes of up to approximately 32,000 Nm³/h, depending on the model. The decisive factor is not only the peak value but also the load profile during operation.

In thermal incineration processes, organic components are oxidized by high temperatures. Typical operating temperatures often range from about 750 to 850 °C, depending on the composition of the pollutants, purification requirements, and regulatory specifications. Residence time and mixing within the combustion chamber are key design considerations.

Fluctuating VOC concentrations, peak loads, or changing solvents can significantly affect the design of the TNV. Burner capacity, explosion protection, temperature monitoring, and control strategy must be designed to ensure that even dynamic operating conditions are safely managed.

Piping layout, chimney connections, utility supply, maintenance areas, and accessibility often influence the plant design just as much as the process data. Especially in existing plants, the peripheral systems determine how easily a TNV can be installed, maintained, and operated over the long term.

Plant Design Concepts for Different Production Environments

From compact solutions to project-specific systems: The key factors are exhaust air volume, load characteristics, combustion chamber design, and site conditions.

Safely Treating Small Volumes of Exhaust Air

The VEN CleanAIR TNV XS is suitable for smaller volume flows and clearly defined exhaust air streams where robust thermal cleaning is required without complex system architecture.

Reliably Cleaning Medium-Volume Airflow Volumes

The VEN CleanAIR TNV S is designed for continuous production processes with moderate exhaust air volumes and consistent requirements for purification performance, temperature control, and availability.

Large volumes of exhaust air during continuous operation result in

The VEN CleanAIR TNV M is suitable for industrial applications with higher volume flows, longer operating times, and combustion chamber, air, and control systems designed accordingly.

Managing High Levels of Pollutants

For processes involving higher concentrations of solvents or pollutant concentrations, where temperature control, safety features, and process stability are particularly important, we recommend using the VEN CleanAIR TNV L.

Ensuring Technical Support for Special Processes

For exhaust air streams with specific requirements—such as fluctuating process conditions, special constituents, high temperatures, or custom interfaces with production—we provide the best possible solution for your process with the VEN CleanAIR TNV XL .

Implementing Customized System Designs

The VEN CleanAIR TNV XXL is suitable for complex projects where standard models are not sufficient and the system design, heat recovery, safety technology, or integration must be developed on a project-specific basis.
